My recent stay at Zoetry Agua Punta Cana was a restful and rejuvenating escape perfect for singles, couples and families alike. The all-inclusive, all-suite wellness and spa resort is a tranquil oasis located on the easternmost coast of the Dominican Republic in Uvero Alto. Isolated from the other resorts in the area, the property is a sanctuary of tropical gardens, meandering pools, and a coconut-palm studded beach. *Accommodations– With only 96 spacious suites you will feel like you have paradise all to yourself. Adorned with teak furniture and rich wood accents as well as French doors out to a spacious furnished balcony or terrace, the suites are the embodiment of rustic elegance. All suites have memory foam beds (one king or two queen), deep soaking tubs, separate rain showers, double vanities, a mini bar stocked daily, and an espresso machine. Our suite was on the 3rd floor with sweeping views of the pool and gardens and a large balcony with a Bali bed for lounging. Other suites have garden, pool, or ocean views, some with private plunge pools or access to the serpentine pool that winds throughout the property. There are also 3 villas that accommodate 5-9 guests, each with their own private pool. The oceanfront penthouse suite has a private elevator, indoor and outdoor dining spaces, and an oversized furnished terrace complete with hot tub. Guests in the penthouse are also treated to a complimentary helicopter transfer from the airport to the resort.

*Spa – One of the highlights of my stay at Zoetry was the stunning spa nestled in a peaceful garden, a truly special place to soak, reflect, take a yoga class, or get a massage. Featuring Finnish and steam saunas, an indoor pool with jacuzzi and Inox bubble beds, the spa was luxurious and so relaxing I never wanted to leave. My 70 minute massage was blissful…

*Dining – Zoetry Agua’s 4 dining options serve Mediterranean, Caribbean, Italian, and International cuisine, each in a uniquely designed space combining natural elements and lighting with stunning views to promote a relaxed ambiance. A nice perk is that none of the restaurants require reservations. There are also 3 bars and a cafe for pastries and coffee drinks. All meals and drinks are included your stay, including 24-hour private in-room dining and limitless domestic and international top-shelf liquors. My favorite dinner spot was Olena with its breezy bohemian atmosphere and international wine cellar. I also highly recommend the caramel macchiato at Coco for a little afternoon pick me up.

All employees were masked, our temperatures were taken and hand sanitizer provided before every meal, restaurant menus were scanned on our cell phones, and covid testing was provided on site by a staff physician. The process was seamless and made for a stress- free vacation.
